As much as you’d probably love to take your feline friend with you everywhere you go, that isn’t always possible.
In those instances, it’s vital to have someone who can care for them in your absence. Here at Coastal Animal Medical Center, we provide safe and comfortable cat boarding in Lakewood Ranch, and we would love to have your cat as our guest. With our luxury accommodations, your furry family member will get to enjoy their very own vacation!
Cat Boarding
Our cat condos were carefully designed to make our feline guests feel safe and cozy while away from home. Each condo has a bedroom, a litter room, and a main floor with a loft and is suitable for one adult cat or two kittens. Family cats that get along well can occupy a top and bottom condo with an open hatch between so they can cuddle and play together. Our cat condos are located in the feline ward where dogs are not allowed.
Food and Medications
We require that you bring your pet’s normal food to avoid stomach upset from changing food while boarding. If you choose to use our kennel dry food instead of bringing your own, there will be an additional daily charge. Please place dry food in individual zippered bags labeled with your cat’s name to avoid confusion regarding how much food your pet should get at each meal. If you feed canned food, please label each can with your pet’s name. Bring all medications in their original containers with instructions. We provide litter, but if your cat is finicky, you are welcome to bring your own.

All feline guests must be up to date on the following immunizations:

Additionally, guests must be current on flea prevention. If your cat is not on a flea preventative, one will be applied at your expense at check-in.
Drop-Off and Pick-Up Times
Our front desk is staffed seven days a week (with the exception of some holidays) for convenient pick-ups and drop-offs. Please note that check-out time is 11 a.m. If you pick your pet up later than this, you will be charged for an additional day of boarding.
A new Boarding Release Form is required each time you drop your cat off for boarding. Please allow extra time at check-in to complete the necessary paperwork.
